Between my last review and now nothing much has changed except one thing: We dined in tonight. Food is still awesome. Service is just as amazing. The hustle and bustle remind me Hong Kong and Taiwanese vibes but in America. This is exactly the atmosphere I chase but don't have to travel 16+ hours by plane. All the dishes remind me of growing up in Taiwan. Now if they ever decided to roll out with dim sum on the weekends that would be amazing! Everything from the hot and sour soup to scallion pancakes to the Szechuan boiled fish and even eggplant were OUTSTANDING! There is no option to give a 6th star but this one place who has deserve it from all our experiences. They cater to everyone and the waitstaff is quick. I can't wait for outdoor dining to be available because I'm sure that will give the atmosphere extra zing too! Standing outside in the parking already makes me hungry. The smell in the air reminds me of my childhood. This is a good thing. Thank you for being in the neighborhood and I'm looking forward to many more trips here!

So worth it. Traveling back to California and wanted that traditional Chinese American take out dinner. HKS didn't disappoint, the dine in area was packed on a Tuesday night. The take out system is numbered and the food comes packed perfectly. They use a black take out tray instead of the normal white boxes, which makes the portions at least seem larger! Our food was hot, tasty, and we devoured it. The price was more than fair. A+

A fav place of ours so we came to have lunch. They were busy but we got a table fairly quickly. We sat outside on the patio to wait. Make sure to check in on the tablet to get in queue and get notified when a table is ready. We sat on the higher tables on the side. The beef chow fun and the salt and pepper fish were amazing as usual.

Came here after hearing great things about it! There was a waitlist but it moved quickly. The food was awesome and authentic tasting - we ordered chicken lo mein, beef and broccoli, and salt and pepper shrimp. The only qualm I had about the authenticity is the portion sizes. Growing up Chinese going to authentic restaurants, I'm used to larger portion sizes. But I can see this restaurant caters to both the crowd that wants authentic Chinese and the crowd that wants Americanized Chinese, so portions are normal, not too much not too little. Would definitely return if craving authentic Chinese. Definitely want to check out their lunch specials.

Had lunch here with a colleague and it was my first time dining in. The ambiance of the place is sorta old school trendy with the artworks and serving dishes. The staff was really pleasant. My colleague ordered the Mongolian beef lunch special and I ordered the shrimp with garlic lunch special. The wait was reasonable. Our entrees came out on this cute lunch tray. Lol It reminded me of elementary and middle school of how lunch was served. Very cute! Also loved the portion control on it too. What a smart and cute way of serving food. I tasted the Mongolian beef and it is just delicious. My shrimp with garlic was just superb. Both dishes were very flavorful, distinct and stood out on its own. The vegetable egg roll and crab cheese wontons were a great addition too. Definitely enjoyed our lunches.

For Colorado, this place did not disappoint! The flavors were really good and service was pleasant. We got several dishes and all of them were delicious and authentic in my opinion! The wait was pretty long and we had to wait about 20min to be seated. The price was reasonable but on the pricier side. Other than that, there were no downsides!

After seeing Hong Kong stations great reviews on Yelp then driving past and seeing a line out the door I could not wait to visit. We came on a weekday for lunch and were able to be seated immediately. The staff here were excellent. They were helpful and attentive. I love that the water cups are metal, it keeps the drinks so much colder! We got pork egg rolls as our appetizer. I ordered the Panang curry beef lunch special and my husband ordered the sesame chicken. Everything was excellent. It is a lot of the same items you would order from any Chinese restaurant but they have just perfected their recipes. All the ingredients were very fresh. We absolutely loved our food! I definitely recommend checking them out and knowing you can count on them to be your go to place for Chinese specifically takeout style. If you see they are busy for sit down know that you can always order carry out!

As far as good American (with some Chinese) Chinese food, this is as good as it gets in the area. Let's be real - the place you go where the Hot Pot (pictured in my review) has Tendon as one of the meats, is not your typical American Chinese place. I showed up with a friend at about an hour before closing time, and it was packed. We were lucky we were just two and got the one empty two top. My friend got a more traditional American-Chinese chicken dish, and it looked good (though not peanut-friendly with lots of peanuts on it) I went for the Chinese dish, the one that didn't even have an American title on it :) Man it was firey hot and delicious (we are talking lots of pepper, a thick almost stew versus a soup, and awesome brisket and veggies) Now - I did decide Tendon isn't for me. It wasn't chewy we are talking things like rubbery chunks you could chew. Maybe like a gummy bear? - I found the tendon devoid of most flavor and a little bit like eating rubber . . . but everything else blew me away Also, not only is this good (and busy with a very diverse crowd) but they have great lunch specials too. Which is good for the Denver-Tech-Center area The only thing I didn't like was the tea. . .I just like lots of free tea, not hot water and a tea bag Yet that alone doesn't take away from five stars - from General Tso to Tendon, this is a great place

Wow!! So glad I made the drive down here to meet my partner for lunch one day. Truly the fastest service I have ever had at any restaurant. I can't speak highly enough! Such a cute vibe inside the restaurant, with a large mural wall and photos complimenting throughout. Super authentic tasting Chinese food, we ate every last bite we could! The lunch special was the perfect size but I am sure family style is done well at dinner time too. The cashew chicken seemed to have more mushrooms than it did chicken but flavor was great. Just blown away. Be prepared for the lunch rush- this place is the real deal. My only gripe is it felt like they were rushing us out the door but the rest of the experience made up for the distaste here. Highly highly recommend! Can't wait to come back to try more.
